ExxonMobil CFO Neil Hansen said at the Barclays Energy-Power Conference that confidence is rising in the plan to add about $25 billion in earnings and $35 billion in cash flow through 2030, with earnings growth “getting closer to $30 billion.”
Speaking Sept. 9, Hansen said confidence is “only increasing” in the ability to deliver those outcomes, according to a stockanalysis/Quartr transcript. ExxonMobil’s December 2025 corporate plan set the $25 billion earnings and $35 billion cash-flow growth targets versus 2024 on a constant price and margin basis. Hansen’s language reaffirms rising confidence; it is not a formal IR guidance raise unless the company restates new plan numbers.
On Guyana, Hansen said cost-bank desaturation arrived about two years earlier than expected, with roughly $55 billion of costs recovered. Entitled volumes may run about 100,000 barrels a day lower from the third quarter, but free cash flow is on track to roughly double between 2025 and 2030, he said.
