Anthropic has selected Nasdaq for its potential IPO, according to a person familiar with the plans, Business Insider reported on Sunday. The company has been targeting an October listing window, though timing and other details are not finalized and an IPO filing is not yet public, BI said.
LiveMint syndicated the Business Insider exclusive the same day and noted Anthropic has not publicly confirmed the exchange choice or October timing. BI said financials must be released at least 15 days before any investor roadshow begins.
Some estimates have put Anthropic around $2 trillion, though that figure has not been finalized, BI reported. Treat the valuation as unverified chatter, not a locked IPO price. Nasdaq earlier this year also secured the SpaceX listing, BI noted in exchange-competition color.
This report rests on a single anonymous source for the Nasdaq selection. Do not invent a ticker, price range, or raise size. No formal company confirmation was available Sunday.
