Adobe reported record third-quarter revenue that beat Wall Street estimates, but a soft fourth-quarter midpoint left shares lower in after-hours trade Thursday. Company results for the quarter ended Aug. 28 showed revenue of $6.76 billion, up 13% year over year, against a LSEG consensus of $6.70 billion cited by Reuters. Non-GAAP diluted earnings were $6.13 a share versus the Street’s $6.09; GAAP diluted EPS was $4.62.
Adobe set a fourth-quarter revenue target of $6.80 billion to $6.85 billion. The midpoint at $6.825 billion sits soft versus a Street figure near $6.85 billion, even as the company raised full-year targets. AI-first annual recurring revenue more than doubled year over year and monthly active users reached 1 billion, per the company. ARR exiting the quarter was $27.50 billion.
Reuters said Adobe shares fell about 1.9% in extended trading. That after-hours tape remained live into the evening and should be re-stamped before overnight, not frozen as a final print.
