Cheniere Energy raised its full-year financial outlook after stronger LNG operations and continued global demand boosted the largest U.S. liquefied-natural-gas export platform.
The company now expects 2026 adjusted EBITDA of $8.75 billion to $9.25 billion, up from its previous forecast of $7.90 billion to $8.40 billion. Distributable cash flow guidance was increased to $6.05 billion to $6.55 billion from $5.30 billion to $5.80 billion.
Third-quarter revenue reached approximately $6.2 billion, while net income was about $1.2 billion. Adjusted EBITDA reached $1.9 billion and distributable cash flow totaled approximately $1.2 billion.
Cheniere also completed the seventh and final train of its Corpus Christi Stage 3 expansion in August, increasing LNG production capacity by more than 20%.
The company continues preparing additional expansion projects at Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi as U.S. LNG assumes an increasingly important role in supplying global natural-gas markets.
Cheniere has also expanded its long-term commercial portfolio, including agreements with QatarEnergy for as much as 4 million tonnes of LNG annually beginning in the early 2030s and continuing through 2054.
The combination of increased production capacity, stronger financial guidance and additional long-term contracts strengthens Cheniere’s position as one of the central suppliers in the expanding global LNG market.
Attention now turns to global gas prices, winter demand and the timing of additional investment decisions for the company’s next expansion projects.
